• I finally have a macro lens! After dreaming about one for years but being put off by the expense, I have finally convinced myself to lay down the cash. And it's a beauty! A Nikkor AF-S VR 105mm f/2.8G IF ED. If you're wondering what all those letters mean, each one is an excuse to add a hundred bucks to the price. But I'm already very impressed with it. I'm still getting used to it but in the meantime here is the first of probably many macro shots to come. It's not quite tulip season yet, but this one is out early.
